Winston's Melbourne

Went for lunch today (Sat 3/1/26). Exceptional customer service. Vast wine/drinks menu. Terrific food at a decent price point. Lobster roll and steak frites were delicious! Lovely decor/ambience. Can't wait to return.

What a brilliant date night gem of a restaurant! Food and cocktails were delicious! I’ll be going back with the girls next time as it is such a cool place. Also have to try the weekday lunch special several courses (including steak frites (my favourite) and a glass of wine $50. This is a winner Black Rock!

Without a doubt one of the best places in Melbourne. I was fortunate enough to be able to celebrate my engagement here and we were so humbled and grateful with the service we received. My partner and I visited and had their Tuesday Dinner special which was so good and value for money. We loved the food so much my partner and we came back again within weeks to have the tasting menu. Immaculate service and immaculate food, could not recommend this place enough.

The atmosphere here is fantastic — warm, welcoming, and full of energy. The service was kind of attentive but friendly. Originally, we were planning to go for the degustation menu ($70), but after receiving some incorrect information, we decided to just order mains instead. In the end, it worked out. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection — tender, juicy, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The fish was impressively large, easily enough to share between two people, and beautifully prepared. Despite the small mix-up with the menu, everything else more than made up for it. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable dinning experience.

We didn’t have a booking. On entry staff were very polite and attentive their customer service was great. Drinks and food were also excellent. Toilets were very clean. That is one area many really expensive places are let down. Looking forward to my next visit

We had such a great time at Winston’s in Black Rock. The cocktails were amazing, especially the dirty martini, it was perfectly balanced and enjoyable. Every dish we ordered was super fresh, beautifully presented, and clearly crafted with real skill and care. Just an all-around awesome spot. Definitely coming back!

I came and had dinner special steak night. Also i had lunch here and coffees orher days. The meat was Cut perfect !, well presented and taste great! Also service is excellent and all staff are diplomatic and friendly and had a willingness to assist.Customer service focus. Rather classy atmosphere , but 'not' snobby. I believe it is fine dining or up market bistro. Outside and inside seats and opposite beach and you have some views of the beach. Inside very well fitted. Worth checking out. Check it out online Wine available Also Beautiful coffee Tea and Hot Chocolate available to compliment the night. Thanking the Manager and his assistant and staff for great service. I have many years experience as a customer service office and I acknowledge and admire great service. All the best.
